Lyrics

The Word

To hear this word
Set your heart a fire
Your soul will long
With sweet desire CHORUS:
The Word…. The word….The word….. is Love

The word means joy
To all who hear
I know to me
There’s no word so dear CHORUS:
The Word…. The word….The word….. is Love

It’s not very large
And not hard to say
It comes about natural
When you feel a certain way CHORUS:
The Word…. The word….The word….. is Love

There are four little letters
Brave and bold
That proclaims the word
That never grows old CHORUS:
The Word…. The word….The word….. is Love

Once they’re united
A un separable team
It joins hearts together
It fulfills every dream

For the word is a gift
From heaven above
For there’s nothing as sweet
As the word called “Love”
